Armando L. Suratos

Armando Suratos finished his BSc in Business administration in 1966 and then took his Bachelor of Law at the Ateneo de Manila University in 1971, before taking up Investment Negotiation in the Institute for International and Foreign Trade Law in Georgetown University (1975). He is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and placed sixth at the 1971 Philippine Bar Examinations.
Armando joined the Central Bank in 1972 as a Legal Assistant and has handled a lot of positions since then, including Associate Director of the Office of General Counsel, the office that dealt with international operations.
He is presently Chairman and Executive Officer of the Inter-Agency Committee for review of Loan Documents for Foreign Credits. Armando is also the Chairman and Legal Adviser of the Bangko Sentral Provident Fund Board of Trustees.
